The La Jolla Murders Volume 3: One of San Diego's Most Expensive Towns

“So you couldn't even mind your own business long enough for us to tell you the good news?!”

Stan whipped around to see his beautiful wife Francine, wrapped in the arms of another man, and he couldn't believe who it was!

“Richard?” Stan exclaimed, his jaw dropping.

His best friend, the lead detective on all the high profile cases, including their latest case. Here he was standing with his wife, while Stan only thought they separated temporarily. He never in a million years thought his only male friend and confidant would swoop down and impregnate his wife! So many feelings raged through Stan right now.

“Stan let’s go into the living room and talk.”

He gave himself a pep talk, not to walk out there and kill the both of them. His mind flashed to the girl he killed for no reason a few months ago. She didn't deserve to die.

He splashed his face with water, as if to wash away the bad thoughts and walked into what used to be his living room. Immediately, he thought he was going to be sick. There were two couches and two love seats in the large living room. On one of the love seats, Richard was sitting, and Francine was on his lap. One of his hands were on her thigh, getting a little too high, and the other was rubbing her back. He swore that if he stood there any longer, he would receive a crash course in how the baby got inside of her.

‘When was the last time that we snuggled like that? Have we ever both sat on the loveseat together?’ Stan thought. With their careers, they were lucky to meet for dinner once a week. As for their bedroom, it was used for sleeping and changing their clothes.

The La Jolla Murders Volume 2: Best Beaches in the World

Stan stood there, frozen in time, looking down at this woman who was so familiar, yet so much a stranger. He didn't even know her name, yet he was the last person that she had seen as she took her last breath on this earth.

This woman was washed up on the San Diego harbor, just this morning. He had dreams of killing her last night, then this morning, his boss had called him and told him to come quickly to the station. His boss informed him that a body had washed up on the San Diego harbor, and she was the cousin of his wife.

He hurried into work, worried that his secret had been found out. The whole way to work, his hands were sweating, in fact he was a sweaty mess by the time he opened up the doors to his office. Since he was a top, high profile medical examiner, he had the biggest office in the entire building. This is because his office also consisted of two metal slabs where the dead bodies were placed to be examined, and many cabinets for all of his equipment that he needed.

There were two swinging doors that separated his work area, where the bodies were placed, and his desk area. The entire time he was driving, and while walking into the building, his mind was trying to wrap around what had happened.

‘It was just a dream.’ He kept saying over and over to himself. Then, when he walked into his office, and saw the once beautiful brunette laying on that metal slab. She was naked, with a thin white sheet covering her body. Her eyes had broken blood vessels, which was a tell-tale sign that she had been strangled. He couldn't catch his breath.

The La Jolla Murders: The Medical Examiner is the Last Person

“I should get going before all my friends and family send a search party down here.” He laughed.

“Did you forget you told me you’re here alone?” He said with a huge smile on his face.

He quickly pulled the back of her bikini top, and like that, her perfect, round, firm breasts popped out. They were about the size of grapefruits.

“Hey!” she tried to yell, but he pulled her back in to kiss her to shut her up. She tried to push him away, but he easily took both of her hands and pinned them behind her back with the ease of one hand.

“No, Stop, Please!!” she began whining and begging. He just started laughing. He wasn't sure why. He couldn't stop. From then, things get blurry in his mind. Then he comes back into focus, and her eyes are staring up at him. He knows that look, she’s dead. Why is he straddling her body, with her bikini top wrapped around her neck? Her eyes had the tell-tale sign of strangulation. The blood vessels had popped. She spits up blood, lots of it. He actually pulled the strings on the bikini so hard, that she started bleeding there too!

Suddenly, he jolts awake. He doesn't remember much of the dream until he rubs his face, to rub the sleep away, and he feels his hands wet. He looks down, and sees that his hands have blood on them.

Killer Vacation in San Diego

Rachel was standing in front of her closet trying to decide what to wear. Gavin had slid out from under the bed and quietly walked up behind Rachel. He grabbed her around the throat with his arm and had her in a choke hold. He pressed the knife against her cheek and told her that if she screamed, he would slash her throat.

She was terrified and listened to what he had said. He walked her over to her windows and closed them. “We can’t have anyone hearing us from out there.” He whispered in her ear. He closed the curtains and then locked her door. Her towel had fallen off and she was completely naked. Gavin then took his wire and wrapped it around her wrists behind her back. “If you scream or make any noise, I will kill you and your friends too, do you understand?” He asked her.

Rachel nodded, “Y..y..es.” She let out a little cry. “Please don’t hurt me or kill me. I have money in my purse you can have.” She whispered trying to hold back her tears of fright.

“Well, I can’t make those promises to you.” Gavin said as he laid Rachel on her bed on her back.

He walked over to her radio and turned it on, in case she decided to make any noises. He then walked over to her dresser drawer and pulled out a pair of her pink satin panties and walked back over to Rachel and shoved them in her mouth. “That’s in case you get any crazy ideas of screaming or calling out for help.” He said and then added, “Only one of us is allowed to be crazy tonight and I believe I do have the market cornered on that.” He then laughed a maniacal laugh.

Gavin had definitely gone over the deep end at that point.

All the alcohol mixed with his depression has caused a chemical imbalance in him that had now reached the point of no return. Any ounce of compassion, empathy or any other emotion that a normal person would feel, like remorse, ceased to exist in Gavin’s world.

Where to Send Your Child: Private, Public or Home School? Volume 1

As a parent you wonder how you will pick the best school for your child to attend?

You have three choices as a parent; public, private or home schooling. Even if you are paying tuition for a school, the deciding factors are always important.

In Volume 1, I will go over the three types of schools, public, private and home school. I will break them down into sub-categories and explain each one to you and then go over the pros and cons of each type of school. Hopefully this information will help you in deciding what type of school you want to send your child to.

If you're determined to have someone else teach your child, then the age long debate of private school or public school will cross your mind on more than one occasion. So many factors come into play when making this decision. One of them being finances. That is, your financial situation. Then of course deciding on what is best for your child.

Some wonder how can we possibly compare two things that are so different? It’s like comparing night and day or oranges and apples. How can we compare two different things that are so obviously not held to the same standards?

I went to private Catholic school for my years of education up until the ninth grade. My first eight years were a co-ed private Catholic school, then I attended an all-girls private Catholic school, then I went on to a public co-ed high school. I've seen the differences in the amount of education that is emphasized. When it comes down to it, you get what you pay for.

It’s like buying a more expensive car. It looks better, runs better and is sharper and probably has more whistles and bells on it. But, if you go the economical way and buy a car that is not so expensive, it will still get you places where you want to go.

Well, it all depends on how you go about doing it though. There are many public schools out there that offer the same kind of education that a private school would. Take into consideration the schools that offer honors courses or advanced placement courses. A lot of public high schools offer college prep courses. It depends on how serious you and your child will be taking their education and not just “go through the system” to get it over and done with. This is your child’s future you are talking about and it should mean the world to you.
